1. About LumQR
LumQR is provided by ITULIS TECHNOLOGY (Malaysia). These terms apply to the LumQR website and app. Contact us at support@lumqr.com. By using LumQR, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service. If you need a parent or guardian's permission under local law, obtain it before use.
Google Play and App Store releases are currently Coming Soon. This website does not offer a public APK download. Product illustrations show the design direction; final features, availability and platform support may differ. No release date or identical Android and iOS feature set is promised.
2. Using the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use LumQR in accordance with these terms and applicable store terms. You retain rights to your own content. You are responsible for having permission to scan, save, create and share that content, including any Wi-Fi credentials or personal information inside a code.
Do not use LumQR to commit fraud, distribute malicious links, infringe others' rights, access networks without permission or interfere with our services. Nothing here restricts rights granted to you by applicable law or open-source licenses. Third-party software notices are available in the app.
3. Results & external content
Decoding a code does not establish that its contents or destination are authentic, accurate, safe or authorized. Local warnings are not a website reputation service. Review the address and the action before opening, copying or sharing a result. We do not operate websites, networks or services linked by codes and are not responsible for their content or policies.
Some damaged codes and barcode formats may not decode. Static QR codes preserve the content used to create them; LumQR does not provide hosted dynamic redirects or guarantee that an external link will remain available.
4. Ads & optional purchases
Our planned model keeps core scanning free, with advertising and an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase. Purchases are not currently open. When available, the store purchase screen will show the product, price, currency and applicable charges before you confirm.
A one-time Remove Ads purchase is not a subscription. It removes LumQR's in-app advertising for the entitled store account on supported devices, subject to successful store verification. It does not remove ads from external websites or imply access to every future paid feature.
Restoration requires the same store account and platform. Android and future iOS purchases are not promised to transfer between stores. Pending or cancelled payments do not grant the entitlement. Store-confirmed refunds or revocations may remove it. Payments, refunds and purchase disputes follow the relevant store's rules and applicable consumer law; your mandatory rights remain intact.
5. Your data & privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains local scans, Library retention, third-party SDKs, support email and your choices. There is no LumQR account or cloud Library sync. Clearing app data, uninstalling, device loss or retention settings can remove local records. Export information you need before deleting it, and protect exported copies appropriately.
6. Availability, changes & responsibility
We aim to provide a useful, reliable app, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, successful decoding of every code or compatibility with every device. Test builds may change and may contain defects. We may update features to maintain compatibility, security and legal compliance. If a material change affects a paid entitlement, we will provide appropriate notice and any remedy required by law.
To the extent allowed by law, LumQR is provided as available without additional warranties beyond those stated or required by law. We are not responsible for losses caused by external destinations, unauthorized sharing by you, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights concerning fraud, negligence or statutory consumer guarantees.
7. Questions, disputes & updates
Please contact support@lumqr.com so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by Malaysian law, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply where you live.
We may revise these terms as LumQR develops and will update the date on this page. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated through the app or website as appropriate. Changes will not remove rights you already have under applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply where lawful.
